Myestrotense is propranolol Hcl .1 mg in 1 ml ampoule.
Each box contains 50 amp
Dose
Dose:
The initial dose of 1mg/1ml amp. ,(diluted in 10 cc saline-given over 10 minute i.v inj.,)
It may be followed by another amp., with 2 min., interval with a maximum a daily dose of 10 mg in conscious patients and 5 mg inpatient under anesthesia
Pediatric dose
0.025-0.05 mg/kg/dose 3-4 doses daily
Indication
Indications:
Supravenricular tachycardia
A) Paroxysmal atria tachycardia; as a result of an increase catecholamine level
B) Digitalis toxicity
C) Persistent sinus tachycardia
D) Thyrotoxic crisis
