Adult or elderly patients with mild to moderate infections: Single IV or IM injection of 400 mg on the first day then single IM or IV injection of 200 mg daily
Children (2 months till 18 years old) Mild to moderate infections: 10 mg/kg every 12 hours for the first 3 doses then 6 mg/kg IM or IV as single dose every day
Rotaplanin is indicated in complicated skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, hospital acquired pneumonia, community acquired pneumonia, complicated urinary tract infections, infective endocarditis, peritonitis associated with continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis and bacteremia that occurs in association with any of the indications
