Paracetamol toxicity Loading dose: 150mg/kg in 200ml over 1 hour.
1st maintenance dose: 50mg/kg in 500 ml 4 hours.
2nd maintenance dose: 100mg/kg in 1000 ml over 16 hours.
Mucolytic effect is 2-3 ml of 20% solution applied 3-4 times daily until
secretions decrease.
The half dose is used for children
